ethonoma is an independent, non-profit, interdisciplinary research institute dedicated to the study of ethical, cultural, and epistemic transformations in contemporary societies shaped by technological and economic change.

The institute investigates how responsibility, judgment, and creative agency evolve under conditions of accelerating technological development. It explores the cultural and ethical frameworks through which societies interpret, negotiate, and shape processes of transformation.

About the Institute

Founded in 2025, ethonoma was established as an independent research initiative exploring the ethical and cultural grammars that structure processes of social and technological change.

The institute’s work is motivated by the observation that contemporary societies are increasingly shaped by technological innovation, economic acceleration, and new forms of knowledge production. These developments raise fundamental questions concerning responsibility, judgment, creativity, and the capacity of societies to orient themselves ethically in complex environments.

ethonoma approaches these questions through an interdisciplinary framework that brings together perspectives from philosophy, ethics, cultural theory, artistic research, social analysis, environmental ethics, economy and leadership. Within this context, research is understood not merely as the production of knowledge but as a reflective and creative practice that connects intellectual inquiry with cultural and societal processes.
